(2010 Vintage) Inky purple. Ripe dark berry and cherry aromas are complicated by musky underbrush and anise. Round, juicy blackberry and cassis flavors stain the palate, with juicy acidity providing verve. Becomes spicier and more vibrant on the gently tannic finish.

International Wine CellarDeep ruby-red. Sappy aromas of black raspberry, cassis, black cherry, licorice and smoked meat. Dense, chewy and quite dry, with strong if unrefined black fruit flavors framed by firm acids. This could use more pliancy of texture. Finishes tannic and a tad pinched.
