(2005 Vintage) Miguel Angel's two favourite wines, from outside Spain, needless to say, areBordeaux and Burgundy. His homage to the latter is the Calvario, to the formeris the Aurus. Beyond the tell-tale bottle shapes, the differences are subtleand intriguing; the Aurus 2005 is made from 85% Tempranillo and 15% Gracianoand was aged for no fewer than 25 months in 100% new French oak.     (1999 Vintage) "Bright ruby-red. Exotic, highly perfumed aromas of liqueur-like berries and licorice. Dense, large-scaled and sweet, with superripe flavors of currant, licorice, minerals and dried herbs. Extremely youthful, almost violent, today, with its structure covered by baby fat. Finishes with superb length and a flavor of licorice.     (2005 Vintage) Glass-staining purple. Youthfully backward nose displays inky dark berry and plum aromas, along with licorice, espresso and dark chocolate. Then shockingly fresh and precise on the palate, offering sweet black raspberry and blueberry flavors, with powerful tannins adding structure.
