The dark wine clings to the glass and makes a perfect red curtain that foretells itself as "I'm Bold”. The entry, mid-palate, and great, long finish each in their own make an exaggerated statement. Ripe black cherry predominates the mouthful of fruit. The tannins are indeed firm but well textured. The ample acidity fulfills the balance and structure. All combined, the layers of flavor hurdle into an extremely long finish. This wine will perhaps show best in 3 to 4 years and should survive 15 to 20 years.” –Kirk Venge (hide)
