(From 2008 Vintage) At first it was very fruit forward, very jammy. The aromas of brambleberry are amazing after it opened up. Vanilla and berry on the palate, still one of our favorite zins.
(From 2004 Vintage) As many of you know, I call Zinfandel the "golden retriever" of reds, as it loves almost all food and all palates. The 2004 Giana Zinfandel boasts a deep fruit core, a wonderful sweetness and richness, notes of plums, black cherries, raspberries, cocoa and licorice. And for the first time, it has a gentle kiss of Petite Sirah, allowing it to "ride higher in the saddle." With only 475 cases made, its a sure sellout by late summer. Try it with barbeque, ribs or "south of the border" spicy dishes!
