(From 2011 Vintage) Earth, oak and blackberries in the nose lead to a medium bodied wine with a finish of black cherry and sandy tannins that could soften.
The fruit of an atypical year. Lots of sun and lower yields are the reason for its richness and concentration. The color is lively and the nose, full -bodied. The palate, on the other hand, reveals itself in a very deicate and refined fashion. Fine wood, associated with the aromaas of yongness, matches remarkabley well. Great subtly and a fine Margaux typicity.
90 Points - Wine Spectator "Clean and very pretty with plum, currant and light smoke aromas. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and beautiful fruit. Give this time. Delicious and well made. Best after 2008. 10,000 cases made."
