Plenty of ripe fruits and spice with firm, rounded tannins and well balanced acidity. Chateau d'Angludet is known for producing more robust styles of wine with a firm structure, the 2003 vintage allowed the to produce some of their best wine. Drink now but will keep 2020.
DecanterRating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Very deep ruby, concentrated, leafy, blackcurrant nose, masses of very ripe fruit, showing richness and integrated tannins, quite powerful, but with the hallmark finesse of Margaux, almost sweet fruit, lovely balance and length. 2008-20. (Tasted en primeur)
