Wine Description

(2006 Vintage) Nicely packed, with energetic flavors of blackberry cobbler, blueberry paste and boysenberry coulis carried by a brambly structure and pushed by anise and ganache accents on the finish. Shows solid grip and should do well with cellaring. This has added some weight since the barrel tasting.

(2001 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Dark ruby colour with delicate, plummy aromas. Some spice and mint. Firm tannins, sturdy, berry-like Cabernet style surprisingly easy to drink at this early stage. Already a beautiful piece of work, full in the mouth with plenty of grip, at the same time
