(From 2015 Vintage) After harvest the grapes were quickly crushed and pressed into stainless steel tanks where the juice was fermented at controlled cool temperatures to capture the intense varietal flavours. After extensive tasting trials by the winemakers, the wine was blended, finished and bottled.
This vintage was another classic with very low yields. This resulted in fruit displaying the classic intense flavours and aromas which characterise Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, enabling us to continue our style of rich ripe flavours, moderate acidity and excellent length of flavour. Babich Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is an ideal aperitif wine, and can also be enjoyed with pasta, seafood, white meats and vegetarian dishes. Try it with a seafood and asparagus risotto.
