(From 2009 Vintage) Painstaking selection of the grapes. Fermentation at controlled temperature 28-32°C. Maceration for about 16-18 days with good use of the delestage technique.
Antonio Galloni"The estate's 2003 Turriga is a more linear, structured wine than the Korem. A bold, racy wine, it reveals sweeping elegance in its focused black fruit, bacon fat and wild herb flavors. This gorgeously pure Sardinian red will benefit from another year or two in bottle after which it should drink beautifully for at least another decade. Turriga is a single-vineyard blend of 85% Cannonau and 15% Malvasia Nera, Carignano and Bovale Sardo. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2018."
