"Deep ruby color with Cabernet-like intensity, concentrated aromas of ripe berries, mocha, hazelnut and truffles; medium full body, rich in texture, bright cherry, sweet oak and bay leaf flavors. This wine has great length. Grapes came in very ripe, with low yields of 3.4 tons to the acre. Fermentation was followed by extended maceration, for a total of 12 days on the skins.
