2002 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Wine Description

(From 2009 Vintage) The 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a ripe, rich, layered, yet elegant wine. It has a dark, ruby color and a complex nose of cassis jam, mocha, violets and nutmeg. On the palate, the wine has a delectable berry-laden entry and a rich, mouthcoating mid-palate. The tannins are beautifully integrated and the wine has a long, satiny finish.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2007 Vintage) Bright dark red. Complex, lively aromas of cherry, licorice, chocolate, tobacco leaf and spices. A juicy, spicy midweight with excellent tension and finesse to its youthfully imploded fruit, spice and chocolatey oak flavors. A very successful offering from Silver Oak, finishing with substantial dusty tannins, noteworthy length and a light touch.
