"We started out the growing season cooler than expected. However, tempertures soon rose into the 90's, putting some of the crop ahead of schedule. Then out of left field, cool weather hit us in late September bringing harvest to a screeching halt, and we got to sit back and watch as fruit matured and flavors intensified.
