2002 Moët & Chandon Champagne White Star

Wine Description

(From 2013 Vintage) Light yellow. Aromas of fresh pear, orange, toasted grain and sweet butter. Supple and open-knit, offering juicy orchard fruit flavors and a hint of smokiness. Pliant, smooth and broad on the persistent finish, leaving behind a subtle anise note.

Winemaker's Notes

(From «nv» Vintage) Our White Star is noted by its soft and delicate taste. Made with a small amount of sugar added to the dosage, the result is a smoother, rounder champagne. It is balanced and harmonious, with mellow, well-developed flavors. Golden yellow with shades of amber, it is very delicate with aromas of flowers, hazelnuts and biscuits.
