ruby/garnet appearance with alcohol and heat on the nose. hints of lavender amidst huge blue and black berry smells. Palate: huge fruit with soft tannins and balanced acidity and astringency. mouth watering fruitiness with a long smooth finish. Decanted a few hours at cave temps, and became even better.
