(2011 Vintage) Berry fruit and dense forest floor. Beautifully fragrant. There is muscularity here but it is intricately woven with an undertone of succulent fruit. Intensity is matched by freshness and a lingering, harmonious finish.
International Wine CellarRating: 91/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 119, March/April 2005. ($233) Medium red. Aromas of raspberry, red cherry, orange peel, minerals and tobacco, with a bit of exotic, high-toned oak. Juicy, fine-grained and suave, with a restrained sweetness. Lively, lingering flavors of redcurrant, iron and tobacco. Seems better than the 2003.
