Quite good colour, less extracted than most, pretty aromas of floral fruit, nicely balanced wine, very Margaux, quite forward and supple but has the balance to keep.
This has an enticing medium-weight nose of fresh redcurrant and plum notes with a cool herbaceous edge. On the palate the wine has lovely weight with a sweet currant and berry fruit character. The oak adds a creamy layer to the fruit but is well integrated as are the fine sturdy tannins.
(From 2005 Vintage) Deep garnet color. Complex nose in which aromas of red and black fruit mix with violet and wood notes.Fat and full-bodied palate with opulent and refined tannins. Very good balance and great aftertaste.
