Winemaker's Notes

"The 2001 is a vibrant dark ruby/purple-colored effort with sweet licorice-infused black currant and blackberry fruit. The wine has a lovely texture, medium body, a sweet, expansive follow-through on the palate, and impressive purity. Drink it over the next decade." - Wine Advocate
