Medium-full bodied, the wine’s fruit flavors are at the forefront; cherry and blackcurrant, followed by nuances of licorice, dark chocolate and peppercorn.     Rich oak and ripeness are met with a broad measure of sweet black cherry fruit first in the aromas and then in the deep, well-composed flavors of this solid, moderately full-bodied offering. There is a puckery edge of latter-palate tannins still to be resolved, but the wine's considerable fruit carries well even at the finish, and a wait of some four to six years seems the sure prescription for genuine success.
