(From 2010 Vintage) The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Silver Anniversary exhibits a murky, foreboding, dense purple color along with gorgeously broad, expansive, sweet black currant, plum, licorice and fig characteristics. Round, full-bodied and opulent, this pedal-to-the-metal, classic, All-American Cabernet Sauvignon does not pretend to be Euro-oriented. Drink it over the next 6-10 years. (From 2007 Vintage) This lovely bottling has bright, forthcoming and seductively rich aromas of Crenshaw melon, Meyer lemon, yellow peach and kiwi. It is both plush and zesty, and just as fruity on the palate, with dry peach, preserved lemon, Crenshaw melon and nut husk flavors that jump out at the finish. Really delicious on its own, this one will be terrific with pork or chicken in a cream sauce and might be even better with fish baked in parchment with fresh herbs.
