(2008 Vintage) The Chianti Classico Riserva has an intense ruby red color. The nose is dominated by ripe fruit and blueberry flavor. Large, concentrated and intense. It has a nice sense of ripe cherries and a long finish with sweet tannins and perfectly integrate.
Med-full body with darker red color, pretty straight-forward nose featuring licorice most prominantly, with some hidden floral notes. In the mouth this wine shines with perfect amounts of dark fruit, lighter fruit such as strawberry, earth, excellent acidity, and a fine tannic finish. Great wine.
