Good saturated ruby. Slightly reduced aromas of blackberry, violet, espresso and bitter chocolate. Suave and smooth in the mouth, with firm flavors of blackberry, violet and licorice. More perfumed and vibrant than the Termes. Finishes with big, toothdusting, fine-grained tannins and excellent length and lift.
(From 2010 Vintage) It has a soft, mint-tinged bouquet with light dried rose petal tones. The palate is medium-bodied with a spicy entry, prickly red berry fruit, cedar and graphite originating from the oak. The finish is quite sharp with a dash of white pepper lingering on the aftertaste.
