Connoisseurs' Guide to California WinesAlthough it is easy to be drawn in by this wine's very tempting aromas of ripe boysenberries and vanillin oak, it is also hard not to be just a little disappointed at the slightly watery flavors that follow. If fairly tasty and easy on the palate, this one wants for increased strength and substance, and it looks to be at its best over the next couple of years.
