(2001 Vintage) Color: Deep crimson with vibrant purple hues. Bouquet: Lifted blackberry, violet and spices with attractive toasty mocha oak in support. Palate: Very concentrated dark forest fruits, plum and spice flavors. Full bodied with complete palate presence- velvet textured tannins and balanced acidity provide the perfect structure for expression of the ripe, focused Shiraz fruit. The finish is long, with savory briar, licorice and chocolate-like oak nuances evident.
