Heitz Cellar Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Wine Details

Wine Description

(2008 Vintage) In the early 1980s, the Heitz Family acquired a marvelous Rutherford vineyard bordered on one side by the Silverado Trail and nudged on the other by the Conn Creek. In 1989, we introduced our Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon --- an opulent wine that consistently expresses its lineage in bold, luscious statements. See Trailside Vineyard for detailed history. “Our Trailside Vineyard produces Cabernet grapes that are incredibly intense and flavorful. We try to enhance that natural bravado during our extended aging process by using new French oak barrels.” David Heitz, Winemaker
