(From 2012 Vintage) A blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals – Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Vibrant aromas and flavors of fresh blackberry jam, cassis, cedar, anise, blueberry, spiced rum, coffee and caramel combine with a rich mid-palate with round tannins. This wine’s upfront silkiness and roundness make for a delicious selection now and will drink well for 15—20 years.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines67% Cabernet Sauvignon; 15% Merlot; 10% Malbec; 6% Petit Verdot; 2% Cabernet Franc. Cherries and chocolate lead the way in its attractive, very accessible aromas, but the frontal flavors of this fairly direct wine want depth and intensity. Slightly plump to begin, then slightly firm and a touch hot, it will be at its best in the next few years but does not exhibit the structural spine to be a good bet for longer cellaring.
