2001 Château Moulin Haut-Laroque Fronsac

Wine Description

(From 2012 Vintage) The nose of the 2012ers Moulin Haut Laroque is clearly dominated by black cherry and ripe plum. Clear traces of sea buckthorn and blackthorn. Lots of dark cherry, blackberry. Dark Earth, also black chocolates. Fine, tasty Provencal herbs beside it. Lush and yet very fine fruit. Here we have an unusually mild yet rich substance of wine in front of us. Fine Woven, playful and yet spicy substance. Final but more a Finessewein, because a massive wine.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2005 Vintage) Good medium ruby-red. Spicy black cherry on the very ripe, expressive nose. Sweet and lush in the mouth; not yet showing the personality indicated by the nose, but this offers an excellent combination...
