Decanter(1989 Vintage) Rating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Fairly deep red; lean oaky nose that developed elegance with aeration; medium-bodied, svelte, concentrated, quite firm, a touch rugged and less elegant than nose, indeed somewhat dull; quite good length.
International Wine Cellar(1990 Vintage) Rating: 92(+?) - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 103, July/August 2002. ($275) Red-ruby with a hint of amber at the edge. Red cherry, redcurrant, minerals, chocolate and a medicinal hint of cough syrup on the nose. Minerally, fresh and juicy, with penetrating acids framing the rich fruit. Finishes very long, with dusty tannins spreading over the entire palate. Turned slightly dry as it opened in the glass.

International Wine Cellar(2002 Vintage) Saturated ruby-red. Explosive aromas of blackberry, minerals, violet, espresso and bitter chocolate. Fine-grained and pliant but with terrific precision of flavor and grip. Finishes juicy and very long, with substantial dusty tannins and excellent life and lift.
