Medium red with a pale rim. Aromas of strawberry, cherry, menthol, herbs and spices. Offers modest flavor intensity and depth but decent freshness and cut. Rather easygoing style, with a touch of unabsorbed acidity. Finishes with slightly dry tannins and oak notes of mocha and chocolate. Also tasted: 2001 Reserve Oregon.
