Robert Parker"The 2001 Grenache (a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah; 800 six-packs produced) was aged in small barrels (75% new). It exhibits a surprisingly thick, dense opaque purple color as well as a big, peppery, sweet, blackberry, and kirsch-scented bouquet, and an unctuous texture with tremendous fruit intensity, glycerin, and follow through. Drink this impressive Grenache now and over the next 10-12 years."
