(2000 Vintage) Intense depth of color. The aroma is full, with ripe black cherry / blackberry and spice / vanillin notes. There is great length and breadth of fruit by mouth, underlain with a slightly softer than average structure. Exhibits the typical Red Mountain terroir that we have come to love. More accessible at release than previous vintages. The wine should age well for up to a decade. Another outstanding vintage from this vineyard.
