(1999 Vintage) The 1999 we offer you here is preposterously juicy and round. Do not ask us to choose between this one and its predecessor. Both are amazing. As peppery as the finest Côtes du Rhône, but aromatically supercharged with the magic scents of Provence, this mixture of Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon promises and delivers far more pleasure than its very modest price even begins to indicate.
Wine Spectator(2014 Vintage) This has a gently fleshy feel, with lightly dried plum and black cherry fruit flavors lined with lavender, tobacco and black tea notes. A pretty mineral edge extends the finish. Drink now through 2018. 5,000 cases made. -JM Country: France Region: Provence Issue Date: Web Only - 2016
