"The 2000 Carneros Pinot Noir has a very fruity aroma highlighted by delicate cherry cola and toast. There is also an interesting bit of cinnamon-like spiciness in the wine. In the mouth, I find the wine firm, yet it has some youthful sweetness as well. The acidity in the wine is assertive, which provides a refreshing counterbalance to the wine’s softness." - Winemaker Steve MacRostie
