Good medium ruby-red. Slightly medicinal aromas of blueberry, dark chocolate and game, with a liqueur-like exotic quality. Tightly wound and penetrating; in a rather brutal stage today, and not showing the lushness or sweetness of the vintage. Finishes firmly tannic, with a note of licorice.

Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Classic cassis/cedar Medoc bouquet, quite dry and restrained. Fine fruit and good elegant wine, shows elegance, depth and finesse. Drink 2-10 years.
