(2004 Vintage) (WA88-90) A deep, sweet nose of charcoal, incense, toasty oak, tar, black cherries, and a hint of truffles jump from the glass of this big, exuberant, flamboyantly-styled 2004 (atypical for this vintage). Medium-bodied with excellent to outstanding concentration, moderate tannin, good freshness, and an attractive, layered mouthfeel, it should age nicely for 12-15 years.
Decanter(1995 Vintage) Rating: 5/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Ripe, rich and typical with enough oak and tannin to develop well.
