Wine Description

(2011 Vintage) Tightly wound, with a good chalky vibrancy and taut red currant, damson plum and bitter cherry notes that show ample length.

Got this wine from my father. This is one of the best year for La Mission Hant-Brion. Score 100/100 from RB several times. Plum and dark berry nose right out of the bottle. Full body with oak herbaceous aftertaste. Tannin is velvet smooth. Love this wine , cheers.

(1992 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Dark ruby, with lovely, creamy, ripe nose of blackcurrants and oak. Sweet oak and fruit on the palate with good balance. Classy!

(2001 Vintage) "Very complex, with blackberries, flowers and minerals. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh, sweet fruit aftertaste. Refined La Mission. Beautiful. Best after 2008. (JS)"
