(From 2009 Vintage) Notes of black raspberries, spring flowers, blueberries, and a hint of blackberries; rich and full-bodied with admirable definition and precision, sweet tannin, and a long finish.
(From 2007 Vintage) Still young. Decent bouquet but completelty overdone. Dominated by acidity, hard tannins no backbone and lacking fruit. All out of balance. Really disappointed by this wine.
DecanterRating: 0/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. The jewel in Fronsac's crown. Its grapes were picked at optimum ripeness and vinified by a past master of the art (the property is owned by Michel Rolland). The wine has silky tannins, a rich texture, and a long, powerful finish. Perfectly balanced wine.
