(2000 Vintage) An enticing nose of great delicacy, followed by an inviting, extremely charming
palate. Quite early drinking and as with so many 2000s, wonderfully appealing.
Classic, elegant Claret at a highly attractive price. Drinking from 2008-2016.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2005 Vintage) Smelling a bit riper than many from this section of the Left Bank, the wine starts with aromas of currants and berries with toasty oak in hot pursuit. It is, however, less complete in its flavors that suggest a bit of concentration but fall short on depth and drift into muscular dryness at the finish. It has a good chance to find a more open stance in time, and it would not be the worst idea to take a chance by laying away a few bottles.
