decanted leading to fruits, cherry, dusty earth, fresh tobacco, tar, chestnut and milk chocolate. The palate is a bit dusty with bright acidity and noticeable but none-obtrusive tannins. I would definitely recommend a couple hours of decanting and serve with a grilled meat or pasta

International Wine Cellar(2001 Vintage) Deep red. Slightly roasted aromas of redcurrant, cherry, coffee and smoky oak. A supple, sweet midweight, with sangiovese-typical notes of cherry, plum, mocha and leather, all nicely framed by firm acidity. Not the last word in complexity but suave and satisfying, with insidious persistence on the ripely tannic finish.
