(1999 Vintage) The 1999 Malbec is full-bodied, with an intense deep red color. The nose is full of rich spices, including cloves and blackberries with vanilla nuances from the oak. On the palate, the wine is quite rich, with a blueberry character to the fruit, lighter tannins, and a long, luscious finish. Served at 60 to 65° F, this wine is a perfect match for richly flavored pastas or, even better, the legendary steaks of the Argentine Pampas.
