International Wine CellarRating: 90(+?) - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 104, September/October 2002. ($56; 14.5% alcohol) Bright ruby-red. Black cherry, black raspberry, licorice and menthol on the nose. Bright, youthful and firmly structured, with somewhat clenched bitter chocolate and mint flavors. The wine solid tannins and acids give it a somewhat stiff aspect. May well need a good five years to unwind.
Wine AdvocateRating: 94/100 - As reviewed by The Wine Advocate in Issue 144.
