(From 2004 Vintage) Straw colour with golden-greenish iridescences. This wine has fantastic aromatic strength combined with elegance and personality. On the nose it unveils a wide range of aromas. Particularly evident are hints of white blossoms, acacia, honeysuckle and aromatic lower mountain herbs. The primary structure of the wine shows great balance. On the nose it unveils a wide range of aromas. Particularly evident are hints of white blossoms, acacia, honeysuckle and aromatic lower mountain herbs. The primary structure of the wine shows great balance. It reveals hints of ripe fruits, in particular syrupy notes of white pears, apricots and vine peaches, with a touch of citrus peel. To balance this wealth of broad, complex nuances, the wine offers mineral traces and savoury hints, which add to its uniqueness. On the palate it is characterised by structure and strength. Its great acidity adds a light edge, producing and balancing a warm alcoholic richness. This wine is rich in extracts, with a fatty, complex and full body. It provides a full range of nuances, reminiscent of the personality of the wine's nose, perfuming and prolonging the palate. Produced with great sensitivity, the wine has only developed part of its potential. Its youth and maturity provide a pleasant contrast, but its bouquet could be further enhanced with prolonged ageing in the bottle. The maturation conditions for the various varieties, all located at an altitude of almost 800 metres, have produced good acidity for this vintage, with a high ABV. The intense, fruity aromas of each of the varieties have been combined with the fine oak wood during fermentation and subsequent ageing on lees, which has been carried out for the perfect length of time to harmonise the wine's powerful characteristics.
