For the second straight year we have included a significant portion of Up-Valley, Oakville, Chardonnay in a blend with our Carneros Chardonnay. The long, slow, cool growing seasons of 1998 and 1999 make the combination of the richer, fuller Up-Valley fruit a natural complement to the leaner, cripser fruit of the Carneros.
