Wine Description

(1999 Vintage) Distinctive Cabernet, with pure mint and currant aromas, followed by a rich yet amazingly supple palate of cassis, plums, coffee, mocha, smoked applewood and loam. Long, alluring finish. A wine that shows what sets Maipo terroir apart. Always worth the wait for this late release, but it needs decanting for maximum effect. Drink now through 2008. 3,000 cases made. (JM)
