(2011 Vintage) Our 6,5 Ha of SYRAH are planted on very decomposed granite slopes, locally called “gore”, among the finest in the area of the Cornas appellation. Harvesting is done by hand only, and usually begins mid september. It takes about two weeks to harvest each parcel at its optimum maturity. In the cellar, grapes are destemmed. Fermentation is carried out in small stainless steel vats (30 to 50 hl) with temperature control and either daily or twice daily treading. Ageing is done in casks. The duration depending on the strength and requirements of the wine.
Wine Spectator(2005 Vintage) "Really juicy, with red cherry, currant and raspberry fruit layered with racy mineral and enticing floral notes. Long and tangy on the finish, with great drive. Best from 2010 through 2023. 100 cases imported."
