(1999 Vintage) "Dany and Michel Rolland's home estate has produced a dense, ruby/purple-colored wine with an intriguing perfume of espresso, sweet vanilla, and black cherry jam. It is powerful and concentrated for a 1999. This medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic Pomerol is atypically structured, with plenty of grip, length, and intensity. It is a superb effort for the vintage Anticipated maturity: 2005-2016."-Wine Advocate

    (2005 Vintage) Brightruby-red. Captivating nose offers floral red fruits, licorice, minerals and coffee, plus a suggestion of hard candy. Dense, backward and powerful, with an impression of elevated alcohol but very good flavor definition. A very fresh and primary style of 2005, still a bit youthfully aggressive but with the inky dark fruit and torrefaction flavors to support a slow evolution in bottle.
