(From 2008 Vintage) A sleeper of the vintage, winemaker Dominique Hebard has fashioned a beautifully complex, evolved St.-Emilion that offers up sweet garrigue, black cherry and black currant fruit intermixed with hints of licorice, fruitcake, underbrush and forest flora. This dark plum/purple-colored, complex, medium to full-bodied 2008 can be drunk now and over the next decade or more.
(From 2007 Vintage) Good medium ruby. Black fruits, licorice and a whiff of menthol on the nose and palate. Sweet and supple in the mouth, with rather soft, dusty tannins and good length.
