(2008 Vintage) When the land is generous, one can only expect the best. This wine is a great example of this. It is a wine made with Tempranillo grapes from estate-owned vineyards. After a careful vinification, it is aged in American oak barrels for 18 months, then bottled and further aged long enough to acquire refinement and achieve a perfect harmony. Cherry-red evolving towards ruby-red, its aroma offers a distinguished ensemble of ripe red fruit and spicy, toasty notes from the barrel. Tasty in the mouth, with good meatiness and a tannic structure in balance with its acidity. Ample, elegant finish.
