(From 2012 Vintage) Bright ruby in color, with an attractive nose of red cherry, with subtle violet and tobacco notes. The palate frames blackcurrant and damson fruit with taut tannins and notes of liquorice and spice.
(From 2010 Vintage) Masciarelli Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a medium-bodied, concentrated red with ripe flavors of raspberry, strawberry, red currant, cherry, violet, earth and tobacco. This is a lovely pairing for lamb, grilled meat, and an array of cheeses.
