Wine Description

Krug Grande Cuvée Is The Archetype Of Krug’s Philosophy Of Craftsmanship And Savoir Faire: A Blend Of More Than 120 Wines From Ten Or More Different Years.     elegant in a subtle way like a teenage krug 1996. able to sense the potential that will come even after 12 yrs. only non krug observation was the weak nose, which was almost non existent. 03/11 deguchi dinner. still showing nice youth this time with a sharper citric kick finish. overall a classy drop holding up the Krug reputation well.

Ripe apple, pear and orange on the nose, along with hints of honey, toffee and brioche. This smells deeper and richer than last year's cuvee but not as toasty as old-time Krug.
