Wine Description

(1998 Vintage) The wine has a fine colour, dark and deep with a purple-violet tint. The bouquet, already open and expansive, contains suggestions of oak agreeably mingled with red fruit and blackcurrant aromas. In the mouth, roundness combines with a solid tannic structure on ripe fruit flavours and well-integrated oak. The rich flavours and full tannins are expressed in a long, harmonious, complete finish, revealing a wine of considerable potential.

(2005 Vintage) Given its vintage and the success of its neighbors, this slightly underfilled offering must be considered as something of disap-pointnment. Narrow and fairly tight-fisted, but never suggesting that it has the fruit that will allow it to blossom with time, it is instead a bit thin and fades away early.
